We have been having lots of fun during the last couple of weeks with our seasonal craft activities – our reindeer pictures have been particularly popular and babies, children and adults have all joined in with the fun.
Surrey County Council are currently reviewing the way they run their Children’s Centres and have now launched their public consultation.
The services we provide for our families are under threat and we would ask that you and your friends and family complete the questionnaire.
Complete the questionnaire online by visiting
You can also collect a paper copy from the Centre.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the changes or if you need any further information.
Thank you for your continued support.
Big thank you to everyone who brought leaves in for our leaf tray, the babies and children are enjoying the sensory and exploratory play, the noise they make and the wonderful array of colours
Please note that Messy Monday and Tiddler Time have returned to separate session times and we are aiming to continue to have activities available in our outside area as well as inside our Centre so please do dress appropriately.
Our play & learn sessions are a great opportunity for you to join in with your baby/child’s play and have fun together exploring the resources and activities available including:- craft activity (paint, gloop, glue etc), story and rhyme session, sensory play, reading area, sand & water play etc. Both sessions are planned using the revised Early Years Foundation Stage Principles (learning development & care for children from birth to five)
Our Messy Monday session is from 9.30 am to 10.30 am and is suitable for children over 2 years of age (please note that younger siblings are also welcome during this session)
Our Tiddler Time session is from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm and is suitable for babies/children under two years of age
Please note that our next Messy Monday and Tiddler Time sessions will be on Monday 14th January
This term we will be continuing to share ideas and strategies for supporting your child’s communication and language skills. If you would like more information please ask a member of staff during the session.
