We have been playing with farm animals and doing animal related craft activities over the last couple of weeks at our Play & Learn sessions, not only is it lots of fun but practising animal sounds really helps with our children with their early communication skills
We have also been introducing ideas on how to support your children in their personal, social and emotional development
more information can be found here:
The Messy Monday session is aimed at children over 2 (younger siblings are welcome) & Tiddler Time is aimed at children under 2.
Both sessions are planned using the revised Early Years Foundation Stage Principles (learning development & care for children from birth to five)
It is a great opportunity for you and your child to have some fun with paint, gloop, glue, etc and to help your child to develop through sensory play.
We also do stories and rhymes during the session.
Many of the activities we do during our
sessions can also be done at home to help continue the learning process.
We hope to see you and your family at a session soon
Messy Mondays 9.30 am until 10.30 am
Tiddler Times 11.15 am until 12.15 pm
Please note that our Play & Learn sessions can be very wet and messy so we suggest that you and your children wear old clothes and to also bring a spare set for your children to change into at the end of the session.
We will continue to use our outside play area as
much as possible during the Winter term, (alongside our indoor area) so please remember to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions on the day, raincoats, wellies, etc.
