This session is for the “Under 2′s”. We have crafts appropriate for this age group and lots of messy play! Again, aprons are provided. This is an ideal session to allow the children to experience different ways of using their ”hand – eye” co-ordination and motor skills, using paint brushes, crayons and pencils. We also do sticking! So please come along on a Monday morning. We look forward to seeing you.

Messy Monday session last week. Lots of fun was had by all!!
These sessions are designed to offer ways to help your children learn through play. We do lots of fun things and it’s a great opportunity for you to play and interact with your child, but have the mess here and not in your home!! We provide aprons! This session is appropriate for the Over 2′s.

We have a new group started on Tuesdays, for new parents, to come along for a coffee/tea and a chat. Its an opportunity to meet other parents in the “same boat” in a relaxed and informal environment. If you have a new-born or baby up to nine months, please come along between 11.30am and 1.00pm We offer hand/foot print cards to make if you would like a lovely present to give to one of your family. Lightwater Baby & Toddler Group is a friendly and well attended group based in All Saint’s Community Hall, Lightwater each Friday between 9.45 and 11.30 (term-time only). The group urgently needs new committee members and volunteers to help run the group as current members will be leaving in the summer when their children move onto pre-school in September. Being a committee member does not require a lot of your time and previous/current members have found it a great opportunity to support the local community and a great way to meet lots of new people from the local area. If you would like more information please either email Nicole on: nicolejones999@hotmail.com or speak to one of the current committee members at the signing in desk during the session. IF THEY DO NOT GET SUFFICIENT COMMITTEE MEMBERS FROM SEPTEMBER, THEN THE GROUP WILL, UNFORTUNATELY, BE FORCED TO CLOSE – please don’t let that happen!!

As from Monday 16th May 2011, please note that the Baby Clinic at Bagshot Childrens Centre will start at 1.30pm and finish at 3.00pm.
Baby Clinic runs the first and third Monday of the month at Bagshot and the second and fourth Tuesday at Lightwater Community Hall, Broadway Road.

We can’t believe we’re over half way through January already!
We have lots of exciting things going on in the Centre over the next few months.
This term’s play and learn sessions are focussing on Healthy Eating and the government initiative Change4life which includes the Great Swapathon, please pop in if you would like more details.
We have a baby signing course starting in March and some one off baby massage sessions, with the Community Nursey Nurse. We now also have a qualified Baby Massage Teacher who is running 5 week courses in Lightwater for us so if you are interested please contact us to book.
Our Parenting Puzzle Course starts this week and is fully booked but we are planning to run another one after Easter, this one will be an evening course more details to follow.
