    Welcome to the Bagshot Infant School Sure Start Children's Centre serving Bagshot, Lightwater and Windlesham.

    Our services are available to all families with children under the age of five. The services that are available at the Centre are support for parents - including advice on parenting, local childcare options and access to specialist services for families. Child and family health services - ranging from midwife and health visitor services to breast-feeding support. This includes ante-natal and post-natal classes and a baby weighing clinic. Helping parents into work - with links to the local Jobcentre Plus and training.

January

Mon 9th –  Messy Monday for the Over 2′s 9.30am until 10.30am. Tiddler Time for the Under 2′s 11.15am until 12.15. Bookable Health Visitors Appointments 1.30am until 3pm, Please contac tthe Health Visitors to book 01276 471930

Tues 10th -Baby Massage (please book) 10am until 11am, at All Saints Hall in Lightwater. Play & Learn in Lightwater 9.45-11.30am with Tina’s Music at 10.30am.  New Parents Group will be on Thursday this week

Wed 11th  – Stay & Play for under 5s - 1.30pm until 3pm

Thurs 12th – Homebased Childcarers 9.30am until 11.00am. Breastfeeding Clinic 11.30am until 1pm and New Parents Group (moved from Tues)

Fri 13th – Tinas Musical Fun will be running at Bagshot Pavillion, College Ride- 1.45pm until 2.30pm. £3 per family

Thurs 19th Jan – Weaning Workshop 11.30am until 1.00pm. If your baby is 17 weeks and older and you would like to join Lois Burton our Community Nursery Nurse at the Childrens Centre, please either call 01276 473093 or email childrenscentre@bagshot.surrey.sch.uk to reserve a place.

February

Weds 1st Stay & Play 1.30pm -3pm We have a special visit from a Dental Hygienist to discuss oral health care with us.

Weds 8th Gardening with Children 7.30pm at Notcutts Garden Centre – please contact us for more information and to book a place.

HALF TERM

Mon 13th Play and Learn session 10am until 11.30am please contact us for more details

Tues 14th & Weds 15th No Sessions

Thurs 16th 11.30am until 1pm New Parents, Under Ones and Breastfeeding Support group will be running.

Fri 17th No Sessions.

Sat 18th Antenatal Class 9.45am until 4.30pm please contact us to book a place.

Tues 21st Activ Tots course starts in Lightwater at All Saints Community hall 11am -12pm suitable for children over 18mths this 6 week course has limited spaces so please contact us to book a place.

Weds 22nd ASD/ADHD parent support group 7.30-9pm in Bagshot School – this group is for parents who have a child who has been diagnosed and is between the age of 2 and 16. Please contact us for more information.
