I can’t believe we have been open for almost one year now! Last week we were lucky enough to have an official visit and opening by HRH The Countess of Wessex.
She came to the school and was shown the new Early Years Classrooms and the new Preschool Play Area
She then spent sometime meeting the parents and children at the Centre – they were have a messy time with playdough and gloop!
She then unveiled our official plaque – soon to be displayed in the Centre.
After lunch all the families who support the school, preschool and centre were treated to an afternoon filled with fun activities including a interactive bug show, a play about being safe, a soft play area, go karting,face painting and our very own entertainer Popsie

We had a fantastic day celebrating The Official Opening and Zara enjoyed her cuddle with The Countess of Wessex. Well done to all those who coordinated such a successfull and entertaining day and thank you as always to the Sure Start Children’s Centre Staff, Caroline, Sheila and Manda for always making us feel like part of the family.
