Bagshot Children's Centre

The school field was full of excited children and piggies when we were visited by Mill Cottage Farm Experience – www.mcfe.org.uk. The children had an opportunity to get in with the animals and were told all about them by the helpful staff – we learnt about making flour and butter and cheese and had an opportunity to make smoothies, the pigs enjoyed the leftovers! Our Junk Modelling session was as popular as ever – Messy Monday returns on 6th Sept.

Our Breastfeeding Peer Supporters have finished their NCT training course and are now regularly attending our New & Expectant Parents Group and our Under Ones Group.

Thank you so much to them all for volunteering to help out at our sessions.

If you need any support they are here on Monday 11.30am until 1pm changing to Thursday from 3rd Sept and Friday 10.30am until 12pm. Please phone first to make sure someone will be available during school holidays.

Saturday 21st August 11am until 1pm Bug Hunting and Craft

Saturday 25th September 10am until 10.45am Little Golfers for 3-5 year olds

Saturday 23rd Ocotber 11am until 12.30pm Play and Learn Session

On Thursday 29th July we will be hosting the NCT Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party.

The session will be run by the local branch of the NCT and will – weather permitting take place on the school field at the back of the Centre.

You do not have to be a NCT member to come along but it’s a fun afternoon and a great way to find out about the work the local branch does in the area.

The Tea Party is running from 3pm until 5pm refreshments will be available,but please bring your own picnic tea  and there’ll be games and fun activities too.

There is an entrance fee of £1 for this event and a small charge for refreshments

Our first session will be  Play & Learn  on Tuesday 14th September from 10am until 12pm.

We will be running sessions similar to the ones that  run at the Centre in Bagshot, they will vary every week so please contact us if you would like to come along.

Wednesday 14^th July is

Family Day at Bagshot Infant School

We have been invited to join in this fun packed afternoon

Picnic on the School Playing Field from 12.30pm and then from 1pm there is a large range of activities to keep the little ones entertained including inflatables, tombolas, games and craft activities.

This is the school PTA’s fundraising event of the year so don’t forget to bring some money along.

 Please note there is no Stay & Play Session on this day!

Farm Fun Day at Bagshot Community Preschool

Another fun filled afternoon – this time it’s the preschools fundraiser and they have a farm on the School Playing Field. The picnic starts at 12pm and the fun at 12.30pm. 

Tina’s Musical Fun won’t be on because she’ll be at the event face painting!

We are continuing our Nursery Rhyme theme in our Play & Learn sessions

Last week we did Ring a Ring o’Roses and this week the very popular Incey Wincey Spider

Learning Nursery Rhymes with your children is a great way to help with their speech and language development and is also lots of fun.

Our Play & Learn Sessions are : Over 2s Monday 9.30am – 10.30am and Under 2s Tuesday 9.30am-10.30am. These are drop in sessions except during the holidays when we do things a bit differently and ask you to book.
